After several years in military logistics, I built a career in the commercial aviation industry working overseas for many years in senior management roles.
Key areas of expertise include leadership, team development, communication, and business planning. I have a particular interest in supporting people in new appointments and those in transition.
Leadership Style. I have developed my personal leadership style over many years, in many different cultural backgrounds on several continents. I feel very passionately about helping people develop and grow. My beliefs are centred on trust, honesty, integrity and tolerance. I am a socialised maverick as defined by leading leadership guru Judith Germaine and enjoy helping others with strong maverick tendencies to succeed.
I settled in the Midlands in 2000, moving up from the South. I joined Solihull Chamber of Commerce with a desire to become involved. I volunteered for office and was elected firstly Vice President and then, in 2004, President of the Chamber. I remain actively involved today and serve on the Executive Committee.
My Approach builds on my experience, my leadership and management skills as a foundation for my professional business coaching with an emphasis on the premise that everyone is capable of unlocking incredible and amazing potential; they just need to find the key.

Like other PCA coaches I use behavioural profiling as a certified trainer in my work with clients.
Accreditations/membership/qualifications I continue to be trained by the International Coach Federation accredited Adler School of Professional Coaching. I am a member of the ICF, and I am "commissioned" from RMA Sandhurst with a good knowledge of leadership. I am a member of the Executive of Solihull Chamber of Commerce and play an active role promoting the Chamber with business in the region.
In summary, I look to bring about real, meaningful and lasting change in both people and the businesses they run. I use my extensive business experience, cultural sensitivity and leadership expertise through the medium of professional coaching and mentoring.
