In our previous newsletter we
talked about coming out of recession and gave you some strategies that
you can use to improve your performance and that of your business. The
journey to a more successful business or a more successful you can be a
long one and, for many, it could be quite a lonely journey.
In this newsletter we would like to focus on supporting you on your journey to your
'created future'.
The first level of support is self help. 'Know your enemies and know yourself,' said Sun Tzu, a 6th
century Chinese military strategist, 'and you will not be beaten in a
hundred battles'. Perhaps this is a little extreme for business, but you
need to know your competitors well if you want to be better than they
are. In our, we look at how you can get your business to stand out first article from the crowd. How can you get your customers to see your business differently and better than your competitors?
Unlock the Big Company Advantage.
In our second article we
look at the rapid changes being made by the coalition government to
business support. Have we seen the end of government funding or will
there still be help for businesses looking to grow? For the full article

So where else can you go for support?
There
is certainly no shortage of trainers, mentors and consultants who will
offer you their solutions and expertise and some of these may
be right for you.
The
danger, frequently, of using 'experts' is that they will sell you their
solution to your issues and therein lies the problem.
It
is a fact that we learn the most from that which we figure out for
ourselves. Most of what we are taught we quickly forget, especially if
it is largely irrelevant to our current situation.
Big
business has discovered coaching and most, around 80%, include some
form of coaching as part of their learning and development strategy,
reporting up to 600% ROI*. Why is this? Because it works. Coaching helps
create choice, generate focus and clarity, action and accountability
whilst leaving you in firm control of the agenda. All the learning
belongs to you, so real improvement and change happen.
We will
soon be launching our PCA online business coaching programme which we
call 'KickStart', giving all business owners a low cost entry into the
benefits of coaching. For more information about 'Kickstart' please click here.
